I detangle on wet hair, with conditioner before shampooing (you can also detangle in the shower). Never detangle on dry hair…ever. Now have you had your hair in any type of braids or twists for a while? if so, you’ll notice a lot of shedding. I’ve been natural for hmmm lets see, i was natural from 2001-2006, i didn’t know anything about caring for natural hair so someone told me to use a texturizer on my hair to “soften” it. Well i did and i regretted it because i had to start over with transitioning and growing my hair back. So after all that i was fully natural again from 2007/08-present :)

ummm a regime? I try to keep it as simple as possible. My hair is almost always in a protective style during cold seasons, and because my hair is under a protective style for a about a month or so, i do a deep condition treatment monthly. During the warm season when it’s not under a protective style often, i try to deep condition maybe every 2-3 weeks? i try to keep it moisturized as often as possible and that’s really it. I don’t do much but the necessary stuff and i leave my hair alone to do its thing.  Hope this helped somehow :)

braids (with extensions), mini twists, Twists (with extensions) In the summer i give my hair some recess here and there, during the cold weather we hibernate (like now). My go-to style has been crochet braids (with water wave hair), they’re easy to install, my hair is in cornrows and not bothered. I try to make sure i oil my scalp every now and then (i’ve been slacking) >_<. Anyway, that’s about it, i try to leave my hair undisturbed as much as possible. Hope this helps.
